Over Christmas break, while I stayed in Texas a little longer with Reese, Dillon was in South Dakota painting away. He painted our bathroom, Reese's room and Lee's room! The bathroom got a new shower curtain, towels and rugs- not a huge remodel but it made the room feel brand new. The color before was a dark shade of beige, the new color is a light grey. Because this is the only bathroom on the first floor, shared by Reese, Dillon and I and any company we might have, I wanted to spend a little extra to make it nice. We hung baskets for extra storage and tried to keep it feeling light and open since its not a huge space.

Another small project we recently completed was the creation of this little space at the end of our hallway. Dillon built a shelf and I painted a mirror we already had. It makes the space feel cozy and like it has a purpose. Here are the before and afters (and a shot of my pregnant self):
