Last Thursday Reese and I said goodbye to Dillon for 5 nights and headed south to Midland. It was our first trip away and I was quite curious to see how it would go flying solo with a squirmy 10 month old. I guess I know Reese well because I packed 'Tangled' and a few odd gadgets to entertain her and she did great!
It was a Texas whirlwind of fun, you might say. I hadn't realized that Reese was not the only one who was going to be spoiled! Breakfast cooked by someone else {all meals for that matter!}, pedicures, shopping trips, free babysitters- I think another trip home will be necessary soon =)
Both my sisters came home too when they heard we were going to be there. I love when we are all together. The older we get, the less we take our time for granted. I really enjoyed seeing Midland through a new lens- we did things I've never done before and I must say I had a great time! I was also thankful Reese was able to spend time with my grandparents, cousins and aunt & uncle. She changes so much between these visits!
